USA Employer Sponsorship History is a Chrome extension that helps users review recent employer sponsorship history while browsing LinkedIn jobs and company pages.

What this extension processes

• Employer name shown on supported LinkedIn jobs and company pages
• Job title shown on supported LinkedIn jobs pages
• Manual company names entered by the user into the extension UI
• Current supported LinkedIn page context needed to run the extension feature

How this information is used

• Identify the employer the user is viewing on LinkedIn
• Send employer and related query information to the extension backend
• Retrieve sponsorship-related analysis from public data sources
• Display sponsorship history and related job match information to the user

Backend service

The extension sends relevant employer and job query information to https://api.usaemployersponsorship.us.

Data sharing

The extension does not sell user data. The extension does not transfer user data to third parties except as needed to operate the extension’s single purpose, which is retrieving and presenting employer sponsorship history results through the extension backend and public data sources.

Data retention

The extension may store recent result state locally in the browser to improve user experience, such as restoring the most recent result or temporary retry state after a page refresh.

Server-side logs or operational records may be retained for reliability, debugging, abuse prevention, and service operations.

What this extension does not collect

• Passwords or authentication credentials
• Payment or financial account information
• Health information
• Personal messages or communications
• Unrelated browsing history outside the supported extension use case

Public data sources

Results are based on publicly available sponsorship-related sources. Data accuracy, completeness, and availability depend on those public sources and may change over time.

The extension does not guarantee current or future sponsorship decisions by any employer.

User choices

• Choose whether to activate the extension on supported LinkedIn pages
• Manually enter a company name instead of using LinkedIn extraction
• Remove the extension at any time

Security

Reasonable steps should be taken to protect the backend service and transmitted requests. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
